US-based Frazier & Deeter opens London office

Frazier & Deeter, the US public accounting and advisory firm, is to open a London office, its first international location, with the aim of capitalising on opportunities following Brexit

Seth McDaniel, managing partner of Frazier & Deeter, said: ‘Expanding to the UK will help Frazier & Deeter better support our multinational clients. We are ideally positioned to assist British businesses looking to maximize Anglo/US trade opportunities in the post Brexit era.

‘The London office of Frazier & Deeter will operate under the methodologies and culture that have helped us build one of the fastest-growing firms in the US.’

The UK practice will trade under the Frazier & Deeter name and will be led by Malcolm Joy, formerly an equity partner with BDO, where he served in a variety of UK and global leadership roles. It will offer business advisory services, including international tax, tax compliance, transaction advisory and other services.

Joy said: ‘I’m excited to be playing an instrumental role in bringing a highly respected US firm to the UK.’

Headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, Frazier & Deeter and its subsidiaries have nine offices across the US employing some 300 professionals. The firm is a member of the PKF International network and was ranked 52nd in the Accounting Today Top 100 annual league tables for US accounting firms with annual fee income of $83.62m (£61m).
