Julia Penny FCA is divisional director (technical) at SWAT where she is responsible for technical authoring and training on accounting and audit standards, governance and compliance. 

She is also a member of the ICAEW accounting faculty and a council member, with a keen interest in the development of accounting standards and frameworks, as well as audit governance and standards. Before joining SWAT in September 2015, she was content manager, audit and accounting at Wolters Kluwer. In a varied career, she trained and qualified as a chartered accounting at Baker Tilly.
