Sarah Young | Disputed wills specialist, Ridley and Hall

Sarah Young is a disputed wills specialist at Ridley and Hall, Yorkshire, who specialises in contentious probate law, which includes advising on – among other matters –  inheritance disputes, problems with executors and arguments involving trusts and the Court of Protection.

In relation to her contentious probate practice, she represented the claimant in the much reported 2014 case Wright v Waters 2014 EWHC 3614 Ch.  The decision is of huge significance to adult children who seek to challenge a parent’s Will, having been estranged from them. From 2006 to 2011 she acted as the firm’s managing partner and won the Association of Women Solicitors (AWS) award for managing a small practice in September 2009.
