People in the news: Wilkins Kennedy, Kilsby Williams, PKF

In this week’s accountancy career moves, partner appointment at Wilkins Kennedy, hires at Kilsby Williams, Quantuma and Wilkins Kennedy and an interim CFO at Fulcrum Utility Services

Wilkins Kennedy, part of Baldwins Group, has appointed Paul Barwick as partner of forensic accounting. Barwick previously worked as director of forensic and investigation services at Mazars.

Kilsby Williams has appointed Daniel Burton as tax manager. He joins from HMRC where he spent six years as a tax inspector.

Tracey Moore joins UHY Hacker Young as head of charities and not for profit. Moore previously worked at BDO as director for charities and not for profit.

Mandy Reynolds has joined PKF Francis Clark as director of marketing. Formerly Reynolds held the same role at Stephens Scown LLP. She has worked in professional services for twenty years of her career, with ten of those years at KPMG.

Quantuma has named Nick Parsk as an appointment-taking director. Parsk joins from Wilkins Kennedy where he spent 18 months as a director, specialising in corporate insolvency and restructuring across the south of England.

AAT has made three appointments as Danielle Smith, Yvonne Eaves and Amy Bishop join the account management team. Smith was previously an apprenticeship cluster lead for Halesowen College, she has been shortlisted for the inaugural Women in Accountancy and Finance Awards. Eaves joins from educational organisation, City and Guilds, where she worked as a business manager. Bishop was previously a client relationship manager at Blackpool and The Flyde College.

Fulcrum Utility Services Limited, utilities infrastructure services provider, has appointed Ian Pattison as interim chief financial officer (CFO). Pattison will continue his role as an executive director. He has experience, having held senior financial roles at Clugston Group, Cintas Document Management, Cape Plc and Boeing. The Company is continuing its search for a permanent CFO.

Logistics company, Europa Worldwide Group has promoted Adam McBride from commercial controller to finance director. Before he joining Europa six years ago, McBride was Financial Controller at telecommunications provider, XLN.

The Bank for International Settlements (BIS) has appointed Andrew McCormack and Morten Bech to the BIS Innovation Hub, a new initiative to support central bank collaboration on new financial technology. McCormack is currently chief information officer at Payments Canada bank. Bech is head of secretariat for the Committee on Payments and Market Infrastructures.
