People in the news: RSM, Buzzacott, Deloitte, PwC

In this week’s accountancy career moves, partner appointments at RSM and Deloitte, hires at Buzzacott and PwC and CEO appointed at R3

RSM has appointed Natasha Lucas as a partner in its private client team. Lucas joins RSM from London-based investment firm Ferox Capital LLP where she was CFO.

Hugo Parson has joined Deloitte as a partner to lead its origination team for private equity. Parson was previously global head of origination for private equity at EY, where he worked for over seven years.

Buzzacott has appointed Rakesh Dabasia as tax director in the private client team. Dabasia joins from Rayner Essex LLP, where he worked as tax director for three years, specialising in the taxation of non doms and offshore trust structures.

PwC has appointed Philip Rycroft and Victoria Raffé as independent non-executives. They join the firm’s public interest body (PIB) alongside chair Dame Fiona Kendrick, Sir Ian Gibson and Justin King. Roycroft formerly worked at the Brexit Department as a permanent secretary. Raffé is currently non-executive director at Starling Bank.

Financial services consultancy, Hansuke Consulting, has appointed John Buckeridge as a senior consultant. Previously Buckeridge worked as a consultant at law firm Eversheds Sutherland. He also spent 14 years at HMRC as a policy and technical adviser.

Liz Bingham has been appointed CEO of insolvency and restructuring company R3. Bingham was previously self employed as a consultant advising organisations to be inclusive. Prior to this she was a senior partner at EY.

Carey Olsen has named Daniel Moore as a senior associate in the law firm's Hong Kong corporate and finance practice. He was formerly a senior associate at professional services company Walkers.
