People in the news: Mazars, BDO, Deloitte

In this week’s accountancy career moves, partner promotions at Mazars, BDO and Deloitte, and chair named at The European Financial Reporting Advisory Group

Mazars has appointed Dorian Hicks as partner and lead of the general insurance actuarial team, based in its London office. Hicks was formerly a director at PwC.

BDO LLP has appointed Catherine Grum as partner and head of family office services. Grum joins form Big Four firm KPMG where she also worked as head of family office services.

Deloitte has promoted Stephen Griggs to managing partner for Deloitte UK. He was previously audit & assurance leader - North South Europe (NSE). The Big Four firm has also named Jack Diggle as lead partner for its Legal Management Consulting (LMC) arm. Diggle was previously vice president and global head of consulting at alternative legal services provider Elevate Services.

The European Financial Reporting Advisory Group has named Patrick de Cambourg as chair of the Project Task Force (PTF). Cambourg is currently president of the Autorité des normes comptables (ANC), with a history of active involvement in the domain of non-financial information reporting.
