In this week’s accountancy career moves, partner appointments at Diverso and Hentons, 12 named in Grant Thornton Inclusion Advisory Board, and two senior finance hires at Fortus
Diverso Accountants, based in Hampshire, has appointed Nicola Withers as client partner to join their team in Salisbury. Withers joins from Roadchef where she was a financial controller.
Accountancy firm, Hentons, has appointed Mark Bain as a partner. Bain joins from McCulloch + Partners, which is part of the Baker Tilly network, where he was managing partner. In addition to Mark’s appointment, Mark Knowlson, Jess Haunch and Mike Werbowy, who work at Hentons’ York, Leeds and London offices respectively, have all been promoted to director level.
Grant Thornton has formed an Inclusion Advisory Board (IAB) consisting of 12 people from across the business. Anne Langton, global mobility manager, people & culture, is an IAB member, alongside Avtar Sohal, public assurance director. The other board members are: Preeth Channa, audit assistant manager; Jo Crowhurst, audit manager; Neil Davies, audit senior manager; Vincent Egunlae, audit associate; Bethan Gill, people advisory associate director; Rosamond Murphy, special projects senior manager; Anam Shahzad, public sector assurance associate; Matt Stringer, tax director; Samantha Street, insolvency associate director; and Marina Simmons, advisory director.
Deloitte has announced the appointment of two senior partners, Hannah Routh and Charlotte Warburton, to join the global climate change and transport services. Routh was previously a partner with Deloitte China and will deliver net zero projects, Warburton joins Deloitte following five years at PA Consulting Group advising global transport.
Fortus, Business Advisors & Accountants, has made two senior finance hires to its creative industries advisory team: Mark Henshaw as non-executive director, and Vasu Majumdar as senior advisor. Both appointments join from Grant Thornton, Henshaw was previously a national industries leader, and Majumdar was an M&A director.
PMD Business Finance appointed Mark Worsley as senior consultant to provide guidance to SME business owners who need support over and above funding solutions. Worsley joins from CLB Coopers where he was an office managing partner.
Business advisory firm Quantuma has appointed James Pow, as a senior advisor to its retail group. Pow previously worked at Samsung as fashion division as a senior retail advisor.
