MHA MacIntyre Hudson has appointed three to partner. Sally Kirby joins the not for profit team from Crowe Clark Whitehill and Tom Byng has left Deloitte to join the mid-tier firm's tax team, while Neil Stern has been promoted, having joined the firm as a trainee in 2006.
John Barton is to assume the role of chairman at easyJet, after the departure of Sir Mike Rake. A chartered accountant, Barton also chairs at clothing retailer Next and insurance underwriters Caitlin Group. A former KPMG-chairman, Rake is set to be the Confederation of British Industry's next president.
PKF managing partner Martin Goodchild and partner Calum Stewart are to join BDO's leadership team as part of changes following the merger between the two firms. Goodchild will become head of regions, while Stewart has been named as finance partner.
Mike Brown has joined Baldwins as tax director. The former Deloitte trainee leaves Nottingham-based firm RWB for the Yorkshire offices of the firm.
