Moore Kingston Smith expands with accounting team acquisition

Top twenty player Moore Kingston Smith, the London firm of the Moore UK network, has acquired the audit and accounting business of tax specialist Frank Hirth

The business includes Frank Hirth’s general practice audit, accounts and payroll business, incorporating a team of 23 people including Andrew Grieve, who has led the audit and accounting team at the firm for the last six years.

Frank Hirth was placed at number 35 in the Accountancy Daily league table of top 75 firms, with a fee income of £23m in 2019. Moore Kingston Smith was ranked at 18, reporting fee income of £56.1m.

Frank Hirth was established in 1975 and specialises in US and UK tax compliance. The remaining tax practice continues to specialise in offering tax advice on the interaction between the US and UK tax jurisdictions.
