Milsted Langdon merges firm with Geoff Gollop & Co

Bristol-based accountancy firm Milsted Langdon has continued its expansion by merging with another practice in the city, Geoff Gollop & Co Ltd.

All staff and clients from Geoff Gollop & Co have transferred to Milsted Langdon's offices in the city, with Geoff Gollop himself joining the firm as a director.

The merger came after Gollop, a former mayor of Bristol, was asked to continue in his current role as the city's elected deputy mayor.

Gollop said: 'I wanted to ensure that my clients continued to receive the same high level of service that they have come to expect, even if I was personally having to devote more time to my civic duties, so I came to the conclusion that merging with a larger firm was the most sensible course of action. I felt that Milsted Langdon held similar views to mine in terms of its personal approach and the quality of service and work provided to clients.'

Roger Isaacs, a partner at Milsted Langdon, said: 'Everyone has been working hard to ensure a seamless transition and it will be very much business as usual for clients.'
