Walker teaches Corporate Financial Analysis, Company Valuation and Financial Communication at the Alliance Manchester Business School. He is a former Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Law. He is an international authority on Accounting and Capital Markets, and Joint Editor in Chief of the Journal of Business Finance and Accounting. His recent research includes a major project on the Corporate Financial Information Environment that was joint funded by the ESRC (grant number ES/J012394/1) and the ICAEW.
