Ken Almand | Partner and head of transfer pricing, RSM
Ken Almand is a partner and head of transfer pricing at RSM with over 20 years’ transfer pricing experience gained at RSM, EY, Mazars as well as HMRC as an international tax specialist. He leads the UK and European transfer pricing business at RSM and specialises in assisting businesses to optimise their transfer pricing strategies.
His insight into the policies of tax authorities combined with a practical commercial approach is particularly valued by clients. His transfer pricing experience includes advising the UK government on transfer pricing policy issues; regular discussions with HMRC on BEPS issues; formulating UK legislation including transfer pricing and anti-avoidance rules; successful negotiation of over 100 transfer pricing examination settlements in various countries since 1995.
He has a track record of implementing effective transfer pricing strategies across business sectors and leads a team delivering over 50 transfer pricing projects annually.
He also teaches transfer pricing to students of CIOT’s Advanced Diploma in International Taxation; and speaks at international conferences and contributes to respected publications.
