Based in Washington DC, Kathleen Hamann is a partner in White & Case’s Global White Collar Practice. Almost two decades of federal service to the US government demonstrate her experience with complex, multijurisdictional anticorruption cases. Whilst at the US DoJ, she successfully prosecuted numerous high-profile criminal matters involving the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. This included the first simultaneous settlement by the DOJ, the US Securities and Exchange Commission, the Office of Foreign Assets Control and the UK Serious Fraud Office. Kathleen was co-drafter of the OECD typology on problems in mutual legal assistance received the Assistant Attorney General's Exceptional Service Award.
