Jamie Younger is a partner at UK top 20 chartered accountants Saffery Champness based in the firm’s Edinburgh office with clients based all over Scotland and England.
He is a landed estates partner and specialises in advice to rural and urban landed estate businesses and the farming sector generally. Being a chartered accountant and chartered tax adviser he covers the full breadth of services required including tax planning, tax returns, accountancy, business planning and audit. He advises on a number of estates including a number where he acts as trustee.
He is chairman of the firm’s internal ‘estates discussion group’ which is the firm’s knowledge-sharing forum for its team of 18 landed estates partners and senior staff. This group meets face-to-face on a quarterly basis to review all tax, accountancy, tax consultation responses and sector business changes generally.
