HMRC has set up a number of webinars and face-to-face events to provide agents and tax advisers with the opportunity to find out more about the move to digital tax accounts and ask questions on the long awaited Making Tax Digital (MTD) rollout, currently out for consultation
The webinars and face-to-face events, which will run across the UK, have been set up to encourage individuals that are interested in MTD to share their views and respond to the consultations.
The webinars last for an hour and run throughout September. They include an overview of the six consultations and provide the chance to ask questions and receive answers from the HMRC host.
They will run from 6-27 September and are available from 11am-4pm depending on the day chosen. Advanced registration is required to attend.
To attend a face-to-face event an individual should email HMRC with details on their nearest city and the consultation document or subject area they are interested in to firstname.lastname@example.org.
HMRC will then provide details of the date, time and location of an event.
