Donald McNaught, director of insolvency at Johnston Carmichael's Glasgow office, has been appointed a provisional liquidator to Scottish premium juice supplier Get Juiced Ltd.

The Stirling-based company, which began as an enterprise in a St Andrews coffee shop 15 years ago, has seen significant expansion into selling fruit juices and smoothies to a range of supermarkets, hotels, bars and restaurants across Scotland. Get Juiced was forced into liquidation after experiencing a cash shortfall.

McNaught said: 'My immediate aim is to preserve the value of the brand and goodwill by achieving an early sale of the business and its assets. A buyer would benefit from the company's significant investment in top of the range equipment and product development, as well as its expanding sales distribution network. The company has secured partnerships with some extremely high profile corporate customers.'
