Fortus Business Advisors & Accountants has launched a dedicated recovery and insolvency business, Fortus Recovery, after merger with HJS Recovery
The new division will provide advice, guidance and support to UK businesses facing a multitude of challenges from creditor pressures to potential insolvency.
The move also sees a merger with insolvency practice, HJS Recovery which will see 18 members of staff join the Fortus team.
At a senior level the main appointments are Gordon Johnston, who has joined the Fortus executive board, while Shane Biddlecombe is joining as an equity holder.
Fortus Recovery’s service offering not only includes business recovery services, but also corporate finance and formal insolvency solutions.
The Fortus Recovery team are highly experienced and knowledgeable, having helped hundreds of companies with the vital business of restructuring, refocusing and recovering.
Gordon Johnston, executive director at Fortus and former managing director of HJS Recovery said: ‘We’re excited to be able to share our experience and expertise. Our focus is to help companies, both large and small, find their way through the financial darkness by providing confidential business debt and recovery advice.
