HMRC is running a schedule of face-to-face events across the UK in September and October of this year to encourage people to respond to the Making Tax Digital (MTD) consultations
Some of the face-to-face sessions will also cover the two simplification consultations in more depth.
To attend a session an email should be sent to HMRC at makingtaxdigital.mailbox@hmrc.gsi.gov.uk disclosing the type of event and the date, location and time preferred.
HMRC are also interested in knowing what individuals will be attending the events so have asked people to disclose whether they are attending because they run a business, are a tax agent or are representing business interests.
Demand is expected to be high and places are limited however, webinars are running throughout September which offer the same opportunity to ask questions.
