The UK arm of network ETL Global has acquired an interest in accountancy and business advisory firm, SRLV, for an undisclosed sum
The transaction is the 28th acquisition by the UK business and closely follows its investment in Manchester law firm Glaisyers Solicitors in December last year.
Ranked at number 41 in the Accountancy Top 75 Firms Survey, SRLV is London-based and was set up some 30 years ago. The firm specialises in high net worth individuals with A-list celebrities, musicians and leading sportspeople as well as companies and their owners on their books.
Fee income for 2018 was £17.1m, and there are 15 partners and nearly 150 staff. After completion of the deal the existing SRLV partners will continue to head up the firm.
Richard Rosenberg, senior partner at SRLV, said: ‘This is an exciting time for SRLV. Our clients are always our main focus and this move allows us to continue to provide our unique service and expertise. This was the logical next step for our business and joining the ETL group will bring SRLV exciting opportunities for further growth.’
ETL Global has a 9,000-strong team of partners and staff in over 60 countries, and is headquartered in Essen, Germany. The group focuses on providing integrated professional services to SMEs combining tax, legal, audit and accounting.
Sara Brassington, managing director at ETL Global UK, said: ‘SRLV is a top 40 accounting firm in the UK. We are excited to be working with them and to back such an experienced firm. We look forward to them joining us in our plans for continued UK expansion, and benefiting from our investment model and global network of expertise.’
