Deloitte has bought Regester Larkin, a crisis, issues and reputation management consultancy, in a bid to build up its specialist crisis resolution offering in response to current business uncertainties
Regester Larkin, which has been advising on high profile corporate crises for more than 20 years, will be merged with Deloitte’s existing crisis and resilience business to form what the firm says will be one of the largest and most comprehensive fully-dedicated practices.
The new practice will be 70-strong, with six partners, operating under the Regester Larkin by Deloitte brand.
Rick Cudworth, Deloitte crisis and resilience partner, said: ‘By combining with Regester Larkin’s unrivalled experience and skills in crisis, issues and reputation management we will deepen our ability to support the growing demand of our clients in dealing with strategic risks through a fully integrated crisis management solution.’
Deloitte said the acquisition was a reflection of current developments, saying businesses are facing uncertainties, growing threats from cyber and other strategic risks, and corporate reputations are under greater scrutiny.
