Dave Dunckley confirmed as CEO of Grant Thornton

Grant Thornton has announced that Dave Dunckley, previously head of mid-market clients, has been confirmed as the firms CEO elect, subject to regulatory approval

Dave Dunckley ACA JIEB will take over from Sasha Romanovitch after she decided to not stand for re-election for a second four-year term.

Dunckley started his career with Grant Thornton in 1998 before being promoted to partner in 2007. His most recent role was on the strategic leadership team, with responsibility for growing the firm’s presence in London with mid-market businesses. These currently represent around 60% of the firm’s clients. Prior to this he led the transactions advisory business in London.

He joined Grant Thornton from Rawlinson and Hunter where he worked for three years.
