The quality of charity accounts is still failing to meet the standards expected by the regulator, with smaller charities performing worst when it comes to compliance with public benefits reporting requirements while only 35% comply fully with the rules set by the Charity Commission, which demand transparency about charitable activities, fundraising and expenditure
