ICAEW examines suitability of IFRS and IPSAS for public sector financial reporting

The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) has published its examination of key differences between the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS), and the suitability of each in public sector financial reporting.

The ICAEW has examined the measurement bases and techniques applied under IFRS and IPSAS.
