Treasury Committee publishes second report on economic impact of coronavirus

The Treasury Committee has published the second report of its inquiry into the economic impact of coronavirus.
Amongst the recommendations made by the report, the Committee urges the Chancellor to set out an initial roadmap of how he intends to place Government finances on a sustainable footing at the next fiscal event. The Committee also notes that tax increases too early are likely to stifle economic recovery.
