ICAS President takes role as chair of CCAB

The Consultative Committee of Accountancy Bodies (CCAB) has announced that the President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS), Mike McKeon CA, will become its new chair.
Mr McKeon will take over from outgoing chair John Cullen FCCA, who is also chair of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA) Standards Board and partner and insolvency practitioner at Menzies.
The role will mean that Mr McKeon takes leadership over the CCAB, a group which represents the main UK accountancy bodies, which have a combined membership of over 380,000 professional accountants worldwide.
