HMRC updated guidance on making a disclosure under the Let Property Campaign

Released 06 April 2019

HMRC have updated guidance on making a disclosure using the Let Property Campaign for which tax years a disclosure can be made for.

Let Property Campaign: your guide to making a disclosure explains who can use the Let Property Campaign and how to make a disclosure to HMRC for unpaid tax. The Let Property Campaign is an opportunity for landlords who owe tax from letting out residential property to get up to date with their tax affairs. The guidance has been updated on which tax years a disclosure can be made for. Income for the current and previous tax years should not be included in the disclosure but reported on a tax return instead.
