HMRC consultation outcome: AML supervision - discussion about fees

HMRC have published the outcome to the consultation on Anti-money laundering supervision fees containing responses and fee structure changes from 1 May 2019.
On 20 August 2018, HMRC published a consultation on Anti-money laundering supervision: discussion about fees asking for responses to questions about the way HMRC charges fees to the businesses it supervises. The consultation closed on 28 September 2018. HMRC has published a summary of responses and further detail about its decision to implement a new charging structure from 1 May 2019, including the introduction of a reduced ‘small business’ fee.
