FRC and BEIS publish no deal Brexit letters for auditors and accountants

The Financial Reporting Council (FRC) has published letters for auditors and accountants about preparing for a no deal Brexit.
The letters have been prepared jointly with the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) to help firms prepared for leaving the EU on 29 March 2019 in the event of a no deal Brexit. The auditing letter sets out key actions in relation to the future of audit regulation that auditors and audit firms need to take to get ready for the UK leaving the EU. The accounting letter sets out important issues in relation to the future of accounting and corporate reporting that accountants need to consider to be ready for the UK leaving the EU at 11pm on 29 March 2019.
