CFE Tax Top 5 – Round-up of EU Tax Policy News

The Confédération Fiscale Européenne (CFE) has published its weekly Tax Top 5 – Round-up of EU Tax Policy News (4 February 2019).

This edition looks at the following:

Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Inclusive Framework makes important progress on digital taxation;

EU Council’s code of conduct group publish letters seeking commitments on tax regimes;

EU Council Economic and Financial Affairs configuration (ECOFIN) ministers to address Commission’s qualified majority voting roadmap;

OECD publishes 2018 harmful tax practice progress report;

Ireland ratifies OECD’s Multilateral Convention to Implement Tax Treaty Related Measures to Prevent Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (MLI).
