CIOT responds to APPG consultation on tax implications of Brexit
Released 31 January 2019
The Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT) has published its response to the All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) consultation on tax implications of Brexit.
The submission looks at the implications of Brexit under different scenarios: a transitional period and high alignment deal versus hard Brexit and no deal; what are the options for UK taxation reform in the post-Brexit economy; how can the UK become more internationally tax competitive after leaving the EU?; and what should the long term priorities for taxation be post-Brexit?
