HMRC letters on 'no deal' Brexit advice for businesses only trading with the EU

HMRC has written to 145,000 VAT-registered businesses across the UK explaining changes to customs, excise and VAT in a no deal Brexit scenario.
HMRC has issued letters to businesses across the UK, including Northern Ireland, which only trade with the EU, explaining changes to customs, excise and VAT in the ‘unlikely event’ that the UK leaves the EU without a deal and setting out what businesses can do to prepare. Guidance published by the Department for Exiting the European Union on how to prepare if the UK leaves the EU with no deal is available here.
