House of Lords call for evidence on Finance Bill 2018 - HMRC powers and Making Tax Digital

The House of Lords Economic Affairs Finance Bill Sub-Committee is inviting written contributions for its inquiry on the draft Finance Bill 2018.

In scrutinising the draft Bill, the Sub-Committee will examine developments in the balance of powers and safeguards between HMRC and the taxpayer. The Sub-Committee will also examine progress on the Making Tax Digital programme since the Sub-Committee’s March 2017 Report on Making Tax Digital for Business.

The deadline for submissions is 1 October 2018. Written evidence should be submitted online using the written submission form. Those without access to a computer may submit a paper copy to:
