HMRC updated guidance on registering as a pension scheme administrator

HMRC have updated guidance on how to register as a pension scheme administrator to reflect the different ways administrators may need to do this.

Register as a pension scheme administrator explains how to become a pension scheme administrator. HMRC have made changes to the registration section to clarify how and when to register. Only a scheme administrator can complete the registration online. How a scheme administrator registers depends on the scheme’s Pension Scheme Tax Reference (PSTR) number. Administrators will need to either contact Pension Schemes service or use the Manage and Register Pension Schemes service.
