HMRC changes to agent authorisation process for HICBC

Released 14 May 2018

HMRC have withdrawn use of form 64-8 to authorise an agent to deal with the High Income Child Benefit Charge (HICBC).

Postal form CH995 Authorise an adviser to deal with your High Income Child Benefit Charge (also available to complete online, print and post) or the online form service should be used to authorise a tax adviser or accountant to act in respect of HICBC issues. Form 64-8 can no longer be used for this purpose.
