Bill Dodwell

Bill Dodwell is tax director at the Office of Tax Simplification (OTS) and a former head of tax policy and senior partner at Deloitte. He is also past president of the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT) from 2017-18. 

He spent over 30 years at Deloitte, where he led the tax policy group, which manages tax knowledge, training, and government representations & consultations with the OECD, HM Treasury and HMRC. His clients were mainly UK and US headquartered companies. He has law degrees from King’s College, London and Queens’ College Cambridge. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Taxation and chartered accountant.
