Baker Tilly moves into cloud accounting

Baker Tilly UK is to expand its cloud computing advisory practice in the UK in partnership with NetSuite and will be focusing on clients who want to adopt cloud-based financial and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems as an alternative to on-site IT

The firm is joining forces with NetSuite, the US cloud-based financials/ERP and e-commerce software company, to offer a cloud computing service for clients in the UK for the first time.

Chris Knowles, IT advisory lead partner for Baker Tilly said, ‘Much of the growth in cloud computing is expected to come from SMEs and mid-market firms in the UK, because cloud solutions allow them to concentrate on their core business activities rather than managing a large IT department.’

Baker Tilly already works with NetSuite in the US market, and is now extending  its offering for accounting systems in the UK.
