Baker Tilly International revenues up to $3.4bn

Baker Tilly International has confirmed year-on-year growth of 6.4% as its revenues hit $3.4bn (£2.45bn) in the year to 31 December 2017

It is the second successive year of growth, having posted similar rates of growth last year, despite the departure of two US firms.

This year, the international network’s headcount grew 10.2% to 33,600 across 147 countries. Audit and assurance services accounted for approximately 36% of total revenues, generating $1.2bn and rising 7.5%; advisory services made up 25%, bringing in $857m, having risen 8%; tax services also made up approximately 25%, bringing in $849m, rising 3%; and accounting services accounted for approximately 14% of total revenue, making $494m after a 2% climb.

North America remains the network’s largest market with revenues of $1.6bn, followed by Europe at $987m.

Asia Pacific was the network’s fastest growing region. Combined revenues grew 13%, driven by China. Total staff numbers across the region increased 22%.
