Accountex 2019 exhibition showcases Making Tax Digital
This year’s Accountex exhibition will focus on Making Tax Digital with over 200 exhibitors including leading software and technology companies, and a keynote from HMRC’s head of MTD Theresa Middleton

For companies struggling to choose from the many MTD software solutions, Accountex 2019 - next month at London ExCeL on 1-2 May - will showcase over 200 companies from global brands to start-ups.
Among the list of HMRC-recognised MTD software providers exhibiting at the show are Access, AccountsIQ, Avalara Europe, bluQube, BTCSoftware, Capium, Clear Books, Easy R & D, Exel Solutions, FreeAgent, HansaWorld, Intuit QuickBooks, IRIS Software Group, JustAccounts, My Digital Accounts, Nolan Business Solutions, Nomisma, Oracle NetSuite, Pandle, QuickFile Accounting Software, Sage UK, Silverfin, Taxfiler, Thomson Reuters, Wolters Kluwer, Xero and Zoho Corporation.
Accountancy Daily will be exhibiting at the show on stand 580 with Croner-i Tax and Accounting, the essential information service for accountants and tax advisers, and Croner Taxwise.

Accountex will be running a dedicated seminar programme with keynote speaker Theresa Middleton, HMRC’s director of the Making Tax Digital for Business, giving an update about the future of Making Tax Digital in Keynote A, at 11am on Wednesday 1 May.
Other highlights include sessions from HMRC’s Rebecca Hutton (Keynote B, 1pm on 1 May), Verna Gellvear (Tax Theatre, 5pm on 1 May) and Claire Williams (Future Theatre, 11am on 2 May); an MTD update from Thomson Reuters’ tax expert, Mark Purdue (Tax Theatre, 11am on 1 May, and ACCA Theatre, 2pm on 1 May & 11am on 2 May); MTD for VAT and Beyond with IRIS Software’s Jenny Strudwick (Tax Theatre, 10.15am on 2 May); a session on getting set up for MTD from ICAEW’s Caroline Miskin (Keynote A, 11am on 2 May) plus talks by experts from Wolters Kluwer, Xero, Institute of Certified Practising Accountants and the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers.
